Overview
The Am Law Daily named Steptoe the most active law firm defending clients in COVID-19 cases in 2020. In an article published February 18, the editors state that Steptoe alone appeared as counsel in 210 cases in 44 districts as the pandemic canceled events and companies took to the courts over contract disputes. Along with business interruption insurance cases, the report noted that Steptoe defended clients on pandemic-related activity in the areas of contracts, ERISA and trademark law.
