(December 20, 2022, Washington, DC) – Steptoe has been named to the Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) 2022 Gold Standard Certification list. This is the seventh time in nine years that Steptoe has been recognized on the list.
The WILEF certification grants gold standard status to major firms that meet objective criteria concerning the number of women among equity partners, in firm leadership positions, and in the ranks of their most highly compensated partners. Steptoe has met all six of the criteria for 2022.
Steptoe counts a number of women lawyers among its ranks, including in leadership. The firm's chair is a woman and a number of the firm's practice departments and management teams are headed by women. Additionally, the firm has a strong record of elevating women to the partnership.
