(October 17, 2024, Washington, DC) – Steptoe ranks #2 in our category (251 - 600 attorneys) on Law360's 2024 Pro Bono Ranking. In 2023, Steptoe performed 29,000+ hours of pro bono service.
Law360 gathered data through its 2024 law firm survey. For the number of attorneys participating in pro bono activity and working at least 50 pro bono hours, firms were asked to provide figures for US attorneys who were employed at the end of 2023. For total pro bono hours, firms were asked to provide their full output for the year. Total hour figures were divided by each firm's full-time equivalent US attorneys for 2023.
