Overview
(June 16, 2022, Washington, DC) — For the ninth consecutive year, Steptoe has received the China Business Law Award in International Trade. In addition, Steptoe has won the China Business Law Award in Government & Public Policy––a first-time win for the firm––as well as in Corporate Compliance and IP (Patent) for the fourth consecutive year.
The China Business Law Awards, presented by the China Business Law Journal, are based on hundreds of nominations received from China-focused corporate counsel and legal professionals around the world. In determining the winners, the nominations (and the justifications provided for each nomination) were considered carefully in combination with other factors, such as each firm's landmark deals, cases and other notable achievements over the past year. The editors also consulted widely with law firm clients and conducted a large number of surveys to ascertain the level of satisfaction with the services provided by each firm.
