(April 20, 2018, Washington, DC) — Steptoe has been nominated for two Chambers USA Awards for Excellence. The awards are based on research for the 2018 edition of Chambers USA and reflect a law firm’s pre-eminence in key practice areas. The awards also reflect notable achievements over the past 12 months including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service.
Steptoe's nominations are as follows:
- Insurance (team nomination)
- Litigation: White-Collar Crime & Government Investigations – Reid Weingarten (individual nomination)
This marks the seventh time Weingarten has been shortlisted in the individual white-collar crime category, having won the top prize in 2012.
The Chambers USA Awards ceremony and dinner is an annual event hosted by Chambers and Partners and coincides with the release of the annual Chambers USA guidebook. This year's event is scheduled to be held on May 24 at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York.
