(May 18, 2021, Brussels) — Steptoe Brussels associate Diletta De Cicco has been appointed to a new leadership position within the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). De Cicco has been tapped for the Diversity in Privacy Section Advisory Board. In January, De Cicco began a two-year term as chapter chair of IAPP’s Brussels KnowledgeNet.
The IAPP is the largest and most comprehensive global information privacy community and resource. Founded in 2000, the IAPP is a not-for-profit organization that helps define, promote and improve the privacy profession globally. The new diversity board will participate in developing programming and content for the section to enhance inclusion across age, gender, race & ethnicity, and geographical dimensions in the field of privacy through education and networking.
