Simon Hirsbrunner was interviewed by the German-language Swiss Television Network SRF for a January 28 segment discussing, the controversies of a proposed economic framework and dispute settlement agreement between Switzerland and the EU. Mr. Hirsbrunner shared his views on the compatibility of Swiss internal measures against social dumping, stating that “It is possible to build caveats in the various market access agreements with the EU in order to make sure that the Swiss internal measures against social dumping are not touched. But there is no absolute guarantee that despite of that they will not be reviewed and limited under some circumstances.”
