Overview
The Hill has named Steptoe partner Micah Green and of counsel Jason Abel to its “Top Lobbyists: Hired Guns” list for 2016. In an article published October 26, the editors note that of the “thousands of law firms, associations and advocacy groups [in Washington that] seek to exert influence over policymaking away from the glare of presidential and congressional politics” only “a select few have shown an ability to get things done.”
In selecting Steptoe, the editors write, “The firm boasts a strong advocacy roster with Green, a longtime financial services policy expert, and Abel, a former aide to Sen. Charles Schumer (D-NY) who specializes in government ethics.”
