Tim Columbus Testifies on the Renewable Fuel Standard

Steptoe partner Tim Columbus testified during a June 22 hearing before the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Subcommittee on Energy and Power on the Renewable Fuel Standard.  Mr. Columbus, who serves as general counsel to the Society of Independent Gasoline Marketers of America and the National Association of Convenience Stores, addressed continuing obstacles to greater renewable fuel usage, including insufficient consumer demand and retailer concerns regarding infrastructure and liability.
