Tri-Agency Rules Address Definitions of Short-Term Insurance and Excepted Benefits:  Today the Treasury Department, the Department of Labor, and the Department of Health and Human Services released final regulations (T.D. 9791) regarding the definition of short-term, limited-duration insurance excluded from the definition of individual health insurance coverage and standards for travel insurance and supplemental health insurance coverage to be considered excepted benefits for purposes of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
