Steptoe Brussels partner Simon Hirsbrunner authored an article for the European State Aid Law Quarterly Volume 16 (2017), Issue 2, titled “Without EU State Aid Control No EU-UK Free Trade Deal?” The article argues that the UK will find itself in a world increasingly focused on cracking down on unfair incentives for foreign investments, and that EU policies adopted in Brussels will continue to be relevant for the UK in that regard.
