Overview
Event Details
Under President Trump, US trade policy continues to evolve, as witnessed most recently by the agreement reached between the United States and China last weekend to reduce substantially the tariff levels between the two countries. This follows on an agreement in principle between the United States and the United Kingdom, which could reduce tariffs on imports of steel and autos from that country. While these developments are welcome news to many importers, new trade proceedings – such as a recently announced Section 232 "national security" investigation on imports of aircraft and aircraft pats – suggest that the Administration has not completely reversed course on its tariffs-first trade policy.
Please join us on Tuesday, May 20 at 10:00 a.m. EDT as we review these developments and offer insights into how these additional trade measures will impact US businesses. Our panel of informed trade lawyers will provide a comprehensive analysis of the recent tariff changes and discuss strategies for navigating the evolving trade landscape.
