Overview
Event Details
The election of Donald Trump will have considerable implications for all industries as the upcoming term is expected to both build on the issues he promoted during his initial tenure, and address new areas of both executive and regulatory activity. Meanwhile, the thin margins of control in the House and Senate by the GOP over the Democrats will present both challenges and opportunities for those looking to influence the legislative process.
To help keep up with this rapidly changing environment, Steptoe will be offering short, bi-weekly virtual roundtables featuring a high-level analysis of the most recent initiatives in Congress, across the agencies, and from the White House. During these roundtables, we will discuss the developments and their likely impact, by featuring a mix of professionals from the Government Affairs and Public Policy group and other practice groups, such as Tax, Trade and Energy. Steptoe will also provide programming in the form of a number of deeper dives focused on specific policy areas and industries.
Join us on Thursday, January 23 for the first installment in our bi-weekly roundtable series where we will focus broadly on the anticipated changes of the new Trump administration and the early days of the 119th Congress.
