Event Details
Please join members of Steptoe's Energy group on Thursday, June 22 for an interactive conversation between former FERC Commissioner Marc Spitzer and former FERC senior staffer Monique Watson.
As the first installment in our "Rate Night" event series, Marc and Monique will discuss what is next for FERC ratemaking, including:
- What a three, four, or five-member Commission might mean for major ratemaking issues and initiatives;
- Implications of Chairman Phillips’ focus on environmental justice;
- The various perspectives of current Commissioners on current topics like formula rates and prudence; and
- Practical advice for approaching the Commission with unique or potentially controversial rate proposals.
The event will be held in person in Steptoe's DC Office with a happy hour following the program. We will also offer a virtual option for the initial conversation. We hope to see you there!
