While her practice is focused on EU and German regulatory law, Anne's experience extends well beyond Europe. During her in-house career, she advised on regulatory matters at both EMEA and global level, supporting multinational business units and coordinating legal advice across regions and functions on chemicals and product regulation, EH&S, sustainability and regulatory compliance. Her experience includes the allocation and delegation of regulatory and EH&S responsibilities within complex corporate structures.
A defining feature of Anne's approach is her interest in understanding the underlying technical and scientific issues in order to provide practical legal advice. She regularly works with technical, regulatory, EH&S and business teams and translates complex technical and regulatory matters into clear, risk-based legal guidance. She is also experienced in communicating complex technical and legal issues to regulatory authorities and other institutions in a clear and accessible manner.
Anne's experience in both private practice and senior in-house roles gives her a strong understanding of how regulatory advice is received, tested and implemented within global organizations.
