Overview
Colby Richardson is an intellectual property attorney who focuses on patent litigation. He advises on matters in litigation at district courts, inter partes reviews (IPRs) at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and provides freedom-to-operate analyses. His clients include innovative companies in the medical device, solar panel, and automotive industries.
Previously, he served as a federal judicial summer intern for the Honorable Raymond A. Jackson of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He was also a legal intern for the Virginia Economic Development Partnership.
Prior to his legal career, Colby worked as a project engineer and a project manager at a multinational oral care and chemicals conglomerate.
