Overview
Colleen McCroskey advises clients on federal, state, and local regulatory compliance related to the construction and operation of telecommunications networks, with a focus on the deployment of infrastructure supporting 5G and other advanced service. She has experience with telecommunications infrustructure permitting and planning, advocating on behalf of clients before the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in rulemaking and licensing actions, and working with lawmakers at all levels of government on legislation related to telecommunications regulations.
Prior to joining Steptoe, Colleen worked counseling clients across Colorado and the country on a variety of telecommunications issues. She was a legal intern at the FCC in the Policy Division of the Media Bureau, where she collaborated with the FCC’s political programming office to develop evidence in a successful enforcement action. She is a graduate of the Silicon Flatirons Center for Law, Technology, and Entrepreneurship at the University of Colorado Law School, where she served as an Editor for the Colorado Technology Law Journal, and has previously lived and worked in the UK and in Serbia.
