Grace's practice focuses on internal investigations, white-collar defense, and complex regulatory inquiries. She advises domestic and multinational clients across various sectors in navigating federal criminal exposure, compliance risks, and government scrutiny.
Her experience includes defending companies facing simultaneous state and federal regulatory inquiries; managing expansive document productions; and crafting comprehensive advocacy strategies. She also conducts sensitive workplace misconduct investigations, exercising the nuanced interpersonal skills necessary to navigate delicate dynamics while ensuring rigorous and impartial fact-finding.
Additionally, Grace provides strategic compliance counseling to help clients navigate a changing risk landscape, including US federal criminal exposure arising from operations in cartel-controlled territories in Mexico and heightened regulatory scrutiny of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs following shifts in federal enforcement priorities.
Prior to joining Steptoe, Grace was an associate at an international law firm. She also served as a stagiaire to First Advocate General Maciej Szpunar of the European Court of Justice. During law school, Grace worked as a law clerk for the US Department of Justice Office of Foreign Litigation and Office of International Judicial Assistance, and as a judicial intern to the Honorable Matthew F.
