Overview
Josh Perkins focuses his legal practice on project finance and energy and infrastructure project development. He has experience with the procurement and implementation of public infrastructure and construction projects across a range of project delivery models, including public-private partnerships (P3), design-build, and progressive design-build projects. Josh has assisted public sector clients in the structuring, review, drafting, and negotiating of contracts and other documentation for public infrastructure projects. He also has experience representing the Environmental Protection Agency as underwriter’s counsel and lender’s counsel in connection with its WIFIA program.
In addition, Josh has experience representing corporate and private equity clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, including public company deals. His corporate transactional experience spans across various industries, including water/wastewater, transportation (highways, bridges, fish passages, etc.), financial services and technology. Josh also has experience representing corporations, REITs, and private equity funds on securities law and shareholder activism matters.
During law school, Josh served as a senior editor and member of the editorial board of the Journal of Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law, was a summer law clerk to the Honorable John M. Leventhal of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York and also interned in the Office of the New York State Attorney General.
