Overview
Kamy Schiffman is a litigation attorney with more than 25 years of experience. Kamy's practice has included a wide variety of commercial litigation matters, including matters alleging breach of contract, common law fraud/fraud by nondisclosure, violation of the Texas Insurance Code, breach of fiduciary duty, trade secrets claims, defamation/business disparagement and tortious interference.
Prior to joining Steptoe, Kamy gained valuable experience at midsize firms in Houston and a solo practice where she handled all phases of litigation matters and represented both companies and individuals.
Kamy focuses on the details and develops unique strategies to passionately represent the client. She is known for being conscientious and diligent and, most of all, dedicated to acting in the client’s best interest.

- Drafted appellee’s brief resulting in Dallas Court of Appeals’ affirmation of trial court’s judgment in breach of fiduciary duty suit.
- Drafted appellee's brief resulting in Houston Court of Appeals' affirmation of trial court's judgment in breach of contract suit.
- Second chair for jury trial in premises liability suit against property owner finding plaintiff was negligent and wholly at fault.
- Defeated motion to dismiss for improper venue and forum non convenience in federal court.
