Overview
Lillian Wallace focuses her practice on patent litigation, with an emphasis on disputes in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, and medical device industries. Leveraging her background in biochemistry, she represents clients across a wide range of technologies, including small molecule pharmaceuticals (Hatch-Waxman), biotherapeutics (biologics), and medical technologies.
Her experience spans the full lifecycle of patent litigation in US district courts, from pre-suit analysis and pleadings through claim construction, fact and expert discovery, dispositive motions, and trial. Lillian has also been granted limited recognition under 37 CFR Section 11.9(b) to practice in patent matters before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Her recent work includes diverse therapeutic and technical areas such as oncology, diabetes, ophthalmology, cosmetics, and pain management. In addition to her litigation work, Lillian advises clients on patent diligence to support transactional initiatives.
Lillian has been recognized by Managing IP as a "Rising Star" in both New York and Canada. She brings a cross-border perspective informed by her prior practice at a leading Canadian law firm.
