John Caracappa, co-chair of Steptoe's Intellectual Property group, and Jeffrey Reisner, head of the firm's insolvency and restructuring practice, co-authored an article with associate Ben Holt titled "Acquisition Tools for Purchasing IP During the Pandemic." In the article, published January 27 in Bloomberg Law, the authors discuss examples of IP purchases through bankruptcy, including the trend of investment firms purchasing retailer brands.
