(May 31, 2019, Chicago) — Steptoe partner Jay Nuttall has been named to Crain's Chicago Business's list of "Notable Gen X Leaders in Law." To qualify for the list, an honoree must be a lawyer between the ages of 40 and 55 serving in a senior leadership role at his or her law firm. The 2019 list of lawyers include some of the top practitioners in Chicago handling intellectual property, corporate restructuring and class-action defense cases.
In a profile published May 30, the editors write: "Jay Nuttall, managing partner of Steptoe's Chicago office, also is co-chair of the firm's intellectual property group. He has been elected to the executive committee for the past four years and serves on the compensation committee. Under Nuttall's leadership, the Chicago office doubled and increased diversity. He helped make the IP group the fastest growing and one of the most profitable groups in the firm."
