Overview
ENDS Report quoted Darren Abrahams in an article titled, "Slashed UK REACH Fees With 'Winners and Losers' Come Into Force." The article discusses a statutory instrument which changes the fees companies registering under UK REACH pay to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) that recently came into force.
Speaking on the impacts of the fee changes, Abrahams says, "There will be winners and losers from these fee changes but for most registrants the fees are a minor part of total compliance costs. The £40 million saving over six years is a fraction of the £2bn cost which the alternative transitional registration model is designed to address."
