Steptoe's Chris Paparella, Justin Ben-Asher, and Jennie Askew authored the USA chapter in the 2022 edition of Global Legal Insights' 'International Arbitration'.
The chapter discusses how US federal and state arbitration statutes and decisional law reflect a strong public policy in favor of arbitration, and how this policy is most clearly expressed in the Federal Arbitration Act (FAA) and the cases decided under the act, which together govern international commercial arbitration in the United States.
