Steptoe's Evan Abrams and Alan Cohn published an article with Thomson Reuters Westlaw titled, "OFAC Economic Sanctions: Cryptocurrency and Blockchain." The authors provide an overview of the application of economic sanctions, under the auspices of the US Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), to digital currency, including cryptocurrency (crypto), as well as other blockchain-related enterprises.
