Brian Fleming and Evan Abrams authored an article for Export Compliance Manager titled "Outbound investment screening regime raises questions and challenges." The September 2023 article discusses EO 14105 (Addressing United States Investments in Certain National Security Technologies and Products in Countries of Concern), which establishes a new regulatory regime that will prohibit, or require the notification of, certain investment activity by US persons involving China (including Macao and Hong Kong).
