Steptoe partner Matthew Kulkin, who co-chairs the firm’s Financial Services practice, authored an op-ed for Morning Consult titled "Why the Global Libor Transition Depends on US CFTC Action." The article, published July 12, provides an argument for why the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission must take immediate action to support the move from Libor-based derivatives to alternative reference rates this summer.
