Search Firm Instructions

Steptoe welcomes the submission of non-partner attorney candidates by search firms that have an active and countersigned fee agreement in place. Candidates submitted by search firms without an executed Fee Agreement will not be considered. Search firms must submit all applicants through our online portal using your own unique search firm ID. Resumes sent directly to Steptoe attorneys, the Recruiting Department, or through Self-Apply will not be accepted or considered. All submissions must include the candidate’s email address. If you do not have access to the portal and would like to sign a Steptoe Fee Agreement, please send a request to Sara Tye, Senior Recruiting Manager.

Search firms that would like to present a candidate opportunistically if a position is not currently listed, please send a blind profile that does not reveal the candidate’s identify, but summarizes the candidate’s experience.
