Please save the dates Tuesday, April 25 - Wednesday, April 26, 2023 to join members of Steptoe's Global Food Contact Materials Team for a special Earth Day-themed food contact conference.
Through a day and a half of interactive programming and conversation, this complimentary course will introduce attendees to the basics of food packaging regulation and compliance in the United States, European Union (EU), Asia/Pacific, and South America (MERCOSUR); provide updates regarding food contact-related activities at the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the European Commission (EC); and discuss the impact of Brexit on EU food contact law.
Featured speakers will include representatives from FDA, the American Institute for Packaging and the Environment (AMERIPEN), as well as Steptoe's in-house regulatory, litigation, and scientific specialists from around the globe.
In honor of Earth Day, we will also place a special emphasis on “green” initiatives, including: reviewing the latest developments with respect to the EU Circular Economy Action Plan (CEAP); addressing developments related to recycling and use of recycled materials; and discussing regulatory considerations for moving toward a “greener” supply chain – don’t miss out!
