Join Steptoe's transatlantic Economic Sanctions practice for a webinar concerning the expanded scope of the EU blocking statute. Following the US Administration's decision to re-impose secondary sanctions on Iran, which had been lifted under the 2016 nuclear deal, the EU has extended the blocking statute and is in the process of taking certain other steps in an effort to shield EU companies from the extra-territorial effects of the re-imposed sanctions.
