Overview
Ansley E. Seay focuses her practice on white-collar criminal defense and internal investigations. She represents corporate clients through all stages of government investigations, internal investigations, criminal prosecutions, and civil litigation. She has substantial experience in fact development, responding to subpoenas and other requests for documents and information, witness preparation, and motions practice.
Before joining Steptoe, Ansley clerked for the Federal Tort Claims Act Section at the Department of Justice, where she handled litigation and settlement proposals for significant administrative claims.
Ansley maintains an active pro bono practice, notably working with the American Bar Association's Death Penalty Representation Project to provide legal representation for individuals facing death sentences.
