Overview
Betsy Zyrkowski represents clients in a wide range of complex commercial litigation and government investigations. Her investigative work spans the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the Anti-Kickback Statute, the False Claims Act, healthcare fraud, wire fraud, honest service fraud, and more. Betsy's civil litigation experience includes discovery and e-discovery, researching federal case law, drafting memoranda and motions for a wide range of commercial disputes, including contractual indemnification disputes, multi-defendant breach of contract actions, securities fraud, and securities class actions.
Betsy is fluent in French and has conducted due diligence in English and French to assess compliance-based risk associated with corruption, bribery, money-laundering, economic sanctions and export control laws, as well as civil discovery in cross-border disputes.
As part of her pro bono practice, Betsy is a certified mediator through the Center for Conflict Resolution and regularly mediates cases in small claims court.
