Overview
(September 4, 2025) – Steptoe is proud to represent Help.Fun, a social impact startup transforming meme coins into vehicles for charitable giving. The company's innovative model launches tokens in partnership with nonprofits, and then channels a portion of trading fees from those tokens directly to the nonprofit partners. Their first coin, $REEFS, raised over $20,000 in its first 24 hours to support water-quality testing and fieldwork for a conservation organization in Hawaii. Upcoming launches will include a token to support lemur conservation to protect them from extinction.
Help.Fun was recently featured in Forbes, which highlighted the company's potential to reshape crypto philanthropy by offering nonprofits a novel, liquid funding stream. Steptoe is honored to support Help.Fun’s mission to bring purpose and accountability to the crypto markets.
A Steptoe team comprising Alan Cohn, Coy Garrison, Christian Auty, Tim Yoo, Sophia Breggia, Nathaniel Sans, and Jason Weinstein is advising Help.Fun on a pro bono basis. The team is assisting with the development of the company's token model, partnership strategy, and legal framework to ensure transparency and compliance in a rapidly evolving space.
