Overview
Ciara Davis represents corporate and individual clients in internal and government-facing investigations, as well as white collar defense and other litigation matters.
Ciara has represented clients in a wide range of matters, including international data privacy issues, foreign subpoena compliance, high-stakes investigations, civil and criminal cases protecting employers from fraud, and post-judgment recovery efforts, among other things. She has utilized her extensive experience with fact development and negotiations to successfully guide clients through Congressional inquiries and testimony; favorably resolve allegations and investigations by state and federal authorities; and prevail in contentious discovery disputes.
Ciara additionally maintains an active pro bono practice which focuses on voting rights advocacy, protection for domestic violence victims, and immigration matters.
Before joining Steptoe, Ciara served as a law clerk for the Honorables Dale A. Drozd & Jennifer L. Thurston on the US District Court for the Eastern District of California.
