Overview
Donna Faye assists clients with antitrust counseling and litigation, mergers, and international trade matters. Her practice also includes counseling on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives and filings before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS).
Prior to joining Steptoe, Donna Faye was an antitrust litigation associate at a global law firm in Washington, DC. She previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard E. Moore of the 16th Judicial Circuit Court of Virginia. She also worked as a summer law clerk in the Tech Enforcement Division of the Federal Trade Commission.
Donna Faye has served as a Visiting Fellow at the George Washington University Competition Lab, where she spearheaded a Capitol Hill Briefing Series, including organizing and leading the first briefing before the House Judiciary Committee. She is also an Editor of the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Law Journal.
She serves as president of the Council of American Ambassadors Annenberg Fellowship Alumni Association and is a former US CAA Annenberg Fellow at the US Department of State, having been invited to return following her earlier internship with the Department. She also previously interned on Capitol Hill in the US House of Representatives.
Donna Faye earned her JD from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she served as international law and current events news editor of Virginia Law Weekly. During law school, she was also a new writer for Virginia Law Weekly, vice president of Virginia Law Women, and a recipient of the Ritter Scholarship Award for honor, character, and integrity. She received her BA in conflict analysis and resolution and global affairs from George Mason University.
