Overview
Weisiyu Jiang is a seasoned antitrust lawyer whose practice spans mergers and acquisitions, government investigations, private litigation, civil enforcement, and compliance counseling. Weisiyu has represented clients across a wide range of industries, including technology, telecommunications, health care, energy, travel, private equity funds, fintech, banking, aerospace, transportation, chemicals, and bio-engineering – bringing both deep subject-matter knowledge and industry-specific insight to each engagement.
Weisiyu regularly advises clients on complex antitrust issues, including merger review and clearance before the US Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission, navigating clients through the US premerger notification process set forth by the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, and managing responses to Second Requests and negotiating remedies when necessary. She also counsels clients on intellectual property and technology licensing, supply and distribution agreements, joint venture formation, and civil and criminal antitrust investigations and litigation.
Complementing her antitrust expertise, Weisiyu maintains a broad regulatory compliance practice that gives her a multidimensional perspective on client challenges. She counsels multinational corporations and financial institutions on US economic sanctions, export controls, securities regulations, anti-money laundering requirements, and CFIUS considerations. She also conducts internal investigations and advises emerging technology companies – including cryptocurrency exchanges, AI ventures, and blockchain innovators – on navigating fast-evolving regulatory landscapes.
By integrating her antitrust specialization with cross-disciplinary regulatory experience, Weisiyu offers clients practical, business-oriented solutions that account for legal risks from multiple angles – helping clients make confident decisions in highly regulated, competitive markets.
