Overview
Jake Carlis focuses his practice on consumer litigation and arbitration. He has experience analyzing issues arising under both federal and state laws regulating the financial services industry.
Prior to joining Steptoe, Jake was a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Dolly M. Gee, US District Court for the Central District of California. There, he researched and drafted bench memoranda addressing dispositive motions on a range of subjects including immigration, intellectual property, and regulatory takings.
