Overview
Manushi Desai has more than 8 years of experience in project finance and infrastructure development. She has significant experience working with agencies such as the US Department of Energy, World Bank, and leading private lenders and private equity firms on first-of-a-kind financings, as well as solar and wind projects. Her project development experience encompasses negotiation and drafting of engineering, procurement and construction agreements, operation and maintenance agreements, power purchase agreements and joint operating agreements.
Prior to joining Steptoe, Manushi worked as a project finance attorney with a large US law firm in New York.
Before moving to the United States, she worked with top law firms in India advising Fortune 500 companies, banks, private equity firms, and multilateral financial institutions in the energy sector.
