Overview
Rachael Cox focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and internal investigations, representing clients in high-stakes disputes. She has experience across a wide range of matters and industries, including False Claims Act litigation, government enforcement actions, employment litigation, and commercial contract disputes. Rachael has worked on matters at all stages of litigation in both state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings.
Rachael is also deeply committed to her pro bono practice. She has served as lead counsel in affirmative and defensive asylum matters, litigated §1983 civil rights cases, and advocated for students in special education proceedings.
Before attending law school, Rachael served as a public middle school teacher in Jackson, Mississippi with Teach For America and completed a Fulbright scholarship in Senegal, West Africa.

- Represented a renewable energy company in a complex multi-proceeding dispute, including an employment arbitration, derivative actions, and other related proceedings across several jurisdictions.
- Represented a medical device manufacturer in False Claims Act/Anti-Kickback Statute litigation involving alleged violations of federal and state law.
- Secured a full dismissal of fraud and quantum meruit claims for an energy company in state court litigation.
- Represented the special litigation committee of a large public company in connection with its investigation of derivative claims.
- Represented a power solutions company in a valuation and breach of contract dispute arising from a private equity transaction.
