On August 21, 2023, Los Angeles Business Journal quoted partner Julia Strickland in an article titled, “Defections: 18 Attorneys Change Firms.” The piece discusses Strickland’s career thus far and her decision to move to Steptoe with the rest of her team.
Regarding the decision, Strickland said: “Steptoe’s been on my radar for many years. It’s an excellent firm and very strong in our space… We have a very solid, stable group, and so I was very committed to moving everyone together for a lot of reasons,” she continued, “some for a pure humanity perspective, but also we felt very strongly that we wanted to provide continuity to our clients.”
