(July 23, 2025, Houston) – Steptoe LLP associate Lena Silva has been elected President of the Board of Directors of the Houston Young Lawyers Association (HYLA). The HYLA is a bar association of Houston young attorneys consisting of 1,800+ members. Their mission is to help members learn, lead, network, and serve.
Lena Silva focuses her practice on commercial litigation and white-collar defense and investigations. She represents clients on both sides of the 'v' and across a broad range of industries with cases spanning from the representation of individual plaintiffs to bet-the-company business disputes with parallel white collar, regulatory and criminal investigations. She is an experienced litigator in both state and federal courts, as well as in private arbitrations.
