Overview
Lena Silva focuses her practice on commercial litigation and white-collar defense and investigations. She represents clients on both sides of the ‘v’ and across a broad range of industries with cases spanning from individuals seeking justice against corporations to bet-the-billion-dollar business disputes with simultaneous white collar criminal investigations. Lena is an experienced litigator in both state and federal courts, as well as in private arbitrations. She has served as first-chair trial counsel, leading jury selection, presenting the named plaintiff, and handling cross examination of half a dozen witnesses, including an expert. Lena has significant experience handling all phases of discovery, including dozens of depositions. She has also drafted, argued and won dispositive motions and served as appellate support on legal issues to trial counsel, including successful pretrial oral arguments leading to exclusion of an expert.
