Steptoe Hosts Mock Trial Program

(June 27, 2025, Washington, DC) – Steptoe LLP recently hosted a dynamic Mock Trial Program at our Washington, DC office, bringing together partners, counsel, associates, paralegals, pre-law fellows, and summer associates from around the firm for a day of immersive courtroom experience. Five trials were conducted throughout the day.

The program offered a unique opportunity for associates to sharpen their trial advocacy skills in a realistic setting, complete with opening statements, closing arguments, direct and cross-examinations of fact and expert witnesses, and evidentiary challenges. Each trial was presided over by a Steptoe partner judge, and participants received real-time feedback on their performance.

The day concluded with an awards and cocktail reception, celebrating the exceptional preparation and professionalism demonstrated by all involved. We are delighted to continue offering programs that foster growth, mentorship, and collaboration across all associate levels of the firm.
