(January 22, 2024, Washington, DC) – Steptoe LLP is pleased to announce that partner Karima Maloney has been named a 2024 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellow, while associates Candice Kwark and Shannon Reid have been selected as 2024 LCLD Pathfinders.
Launched in 2011, the Fellows Program connects high-potential attorneys from diverse backgrounds at LCLD Member organizations, providing a year-long professional development program focused on leadership and relationship building. The program gives participants the opportunity to learn from top leaders in the legal profession as well as experts in the fields of learning and development and executive coaching.
As a Fellow, Maloney will participate in virtual and in-person class meetings, with opportunities to interact with key legal and business leaders of large US corporations, and leadership lunches hosted by LCLD Member organizations featuring a managing partner or general counsel.
Kwark and Reid will participate in the Pathfinder Program which connects high-potential, early-career attorneys from diverse backgrounds at LCLD Member organizations, providing a seven–month professional development program focused on foundational leadership and relationship-building. The program gives participants the opportunity to learn from top leaders in the legal profession as well as experts in the fields of learning and development and executive coaching.
