Overview
Yumiko has authored an article comprising two parts in the Journal of the Japanese Institute of International Business Law (国際商事法務). In the October and November 2020 issues of the Journal, Yumiko provides an overview of the scope and objectives of the European Commission’s White Paper on foreign subsidies published on June 17, 2020, and summarises the proposed mechanisms to address foreign subsidies. She further argues what impact the White Paper will have on Japanese companies who have a business presence in the EU.
