MarketWatch Cites Jason Abel on Leftover Trump and Clinton Merchandise

MarketWatch cited Jason Abel in an article titled “Here’s What Happens to All That Leftover Trump and Clinton Merchandise.”  The article, published November 18, discusses what happens to the presidential campaign merchandise after a victor has been declared.

Mr. Abel, former chief counsel to Chairman Chuck Schumer on the US Senate Committee on Rules & Administration, says that while federal election law requires the tracking of electoral contributions and expenses, there's no need for campaign workers to document what they do with things like leftover bumper stickers as long as the campaign doesn't receive financial or in-kind benefits.
