Overview
Emily is a member of the Commercial Litigation practice, where she represents clients in all stages of civil litigation. She has experience drafting critical briefs, discovery motions, internal client memoranda, and bench memoranda. Emily has defended clients in both federal and state courts on issues involving product liability, advertising, antitrust, breach of contract, and real estate disputes. Her clients also benefit from her experience in the trial process, as she has been a member of multiple separate trial teams. Before law school, she was a paralegal at the US Department of Justice.
Emily is a two-time intern at the Supreme Court of the United States, as well as a former intern at the White House. While in law school, Emily was nominated by her professors, clients, and peers to receive the Jane L. Mixer Memorial Award. This award, given to Emily upon graduation, recognizes exceptional character and devotion to social justice.
