Overview
Haley is a commercial litigation attorney who focuses her practice on insurance coverage disputes. Haley has represented major insurance carriers in actions alleging breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, fraud, bad faith, personal injury, and property damage. Haley has experience in all phases of pretrial civil litigation, including fact investigation, legal research, pleadings, motions practice, and written discovery.
Haley maintains an active pro bono practice, in which she currently represents clients who have experienced wrongful denial or termination of government housing benefits. During law school, Haley worked as a Student Attorney in American University Washington College of Law’s Decarceration & Re-Entry Clinic. In this capacity, she successfully advocated before the Maryland Parole Commission for the release of her client, who had been incarcerated for thirty-two years.
