Overview
Michael Zschokke focuses his practice on federal appeals and litigation before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). He has advised clients on numerous energy issues, including transmission agreements, FERC jurisdiction over co-located electricity, rulemaking on oil-pipeline indices, and capacity-market price caps. Michael also has experience drafting briefs and petitions filed in the US Supreme Court, in the US Courts of Appeals, and before FERC.
Michael’s writing on constitutional and administrative law has appeared in multiple law journals, including the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law and the University of Louisville Law Review.
Before entering private practice, Michael served as a law clerk to the Honorable Danny J. Boggs of the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
